The Goblin’s voice as I read his dialogue was from the ’90’s Fox cartoon. (I believe this episode in that series was a particularly suspenseful one, as it was the one where Norman knew Peter’s identity, but Peter hadn’t yet realized it.)
Peter’s Spider-Sense is disabled in this scene, so it’s no wonder the Goblin was able to get the jump on him.
