I like how SUPERIOR FOES OF SPIDER-MAN made fun of the fact that Boomerang will never be on Bullseye’s level.
I remember in this issue, Boomerang kept going on about becoming Kingpin’s number one assassin, which was pretty much Bullseye’s motivation during Miller’s run on Daredevil. Between that and this sequence, I wonder if Bullseye was meant to be in this issue but got replaced by Boomerang? Or maybe they were deliberately parodying Bullseye a bit here.
