Almost feel bad for Eddie cause he believed his bond with the symboite was stronger than when it was with peter but it looks like he was proven wrong.

Its crazy how fast the symbiote leaves as soon as peter offers himself and having Eddie almost heartbroken
Poor Eddie. We’ve all been there. Minus the oozy black alien part.
@William Sinclair – And as soon as Peter shows the slightest bit of interest, the symbiote drops Eddie and goes crawling (literally) back to Peter. We should’ve gotten a scene in Venom’s next issue of Eddie with his arms folded, facing away from the symbiote, saying “Oh, you want me back now! Well, of course you do! Now that you know that Spider-Man won’t have you back! Well I don’t know if *I* want you back!”
The romantic subtext in this sequence is through the roof! I do find it interesting that the Symbiote would prefer to be with Peter deep down, makes it seem like a clingy, toxic ex, trying to hurt Peter and make him jealous through Eddie.
