  1. I just love how Marvel has historically tried to make us hate MJ, and yet, she’s still managed to become one of the most beloved characters in the series. Also yeah, the attempts at ‘hip’ dialogue must have been cringey even then…

  2. It’s funny to read interviews with Stan where he says that at the time MJ was so much more popular than Gwen and they wanted the readers to like Gwen more so they gave MJ this awful hairdo to make her less-popular.
