It seems I’m going to have to stalk these red carpet events before Director Marc Webb will talk Spider-Man with me. However, MTV got him and he shared a few thoughts.

Yeah no idea who this guy is.
I like Raimi and there were undeniable moments of greatness in his films. But I have a good feeling that this guy will blow him out of the water. When he said “I do think the mythology of Spider-Man is wide and vast, and there’s more opportunity to explore that cinematically” I think he is essentially saying in a nice way, “I will tap into the source material on a much deeper level then was done previous” Something that cinema would demand of him. He is not content playing in comics anymore. Can’t wait.
