I too always forgot that Arthur was introduced back in the Lee/Romita era – I always thought he was a retconned character in the 90s, just to have another older Stacey character for Spidey to bounce off of. Also, he looks like he’s a wax figure and his face is melting. Must have gotten a lot of botox before returning in the 90s.
It’s kind of weird how much they ended up expanding upon this initially totally minor character. I tend to forget that Arthur had an appearance prior to the 90s.
