Unfortunately, Stan Lee passed away yesterday. Stan lived a great life and accomplished more things in his one lifetime than any of us could ever dream of. Can you imagine what would have happened if he had decided to give it all up all those years ago and not written Fantastic Four #1? We simply wouldn’t be here today, and that’s a terrifying thought.
Thanks to him (and those that helped him along the way), Peter Parker is a character that represents the best of all of us; someone who strives to be the best that he can be; someone with all of the problems we have, but never gives up when things get tough. He pushes through, he keeps going, and comes out of it a lot stronger than he was before.
Because giving up should never be an option.
Thank you, Stan.
Maybe these two are finally crafting another Spider-Man story, wherever they are.

I’m sure this was very true to their real relationship. Despite all their resentment in the end (and all the arguing fans do over who deserves credit for creating Spider-Man) they were an incredible team, one of the best in the history of comics. Spidey wouldn’t in a million years be as great a character if he were developed without one of them.
