Jonah tries to warn the bank that the Tinkerer is going to strike with no such luck and the Tinkerer just walks in.  Both he and Teresa deal with the Tinkerer so Older Peter can focus on rescuing Younger Peter and his Aunt May from the Green Goblin, who has taken both hostage and brought them to the Washington Bridge.  Jonah cases the Tinkerer but he loses him and it’s up to Teresa.  Both her and the Tinkerer fight which causes the warehouse that she tracked him down to, to explode.  Meanwhile back at the Bridge Norman and Older Peter fight while taunting Younger Peter and his Aunt.  Goblin explodes the top of the bridge where Aunt May begins to fall.  Older Peter has been doing this a long time and prepares.  A web net was “thwipped” at the bottom of the bridge, just in case, pays off as Aunt May falls right into it.  Teresa wakes up and finds out that Jonah managed to drag her out of the warehouse.  The evidence was supposely destroyed with a BB8-ish robot gives Teresa the file on how to stop the aliens back in their time.  With Aunt May safe and Norman defeated a victory party is being held at the Parker house hold where Teresa tells Peter that she is indeed his sister and Younger Peter overhears Older Peter talk about how bad his life is because he’s Spider-Man.  Younger Peter takes out the trash along with is costume.  Spider-Man No More.

We finally come to a close with the plot point Chip Zdarsky was getting to since issue number one.  Teresa Parker.  Peter Parker has a sister.  Our Crawlspacer Ashley isn’t too fond of the character, but I respectfully disagree.  I actually like the idea of Peter having a sister.  For me it “can” bring great depth into both her character and Peter’s.  Not saying it will, but it CAN.  Peter’s has been through a lot in his life and very limited blood related family.  Nice to have a sister that he can depend on.  I hope she makes it into Amazing at one point or another and it would be great for her to get Peter and Mary Jane back together again.  Wishful thinking on my part, but I’m actually looking forward to what Teresa can bring to the table.  It took quite a bit of time to get to this point…too long in my opinion, but we can finally just relax and come to grips with it.  Hoping Teresa will help Peter GROW in the future, which is something that character desperately needs!  Welcome to the family Teresa!

Now I don’t want to bring anyone down.  I’ve gotten a lot of flack for stating my opinion on this matter.  This is a Spider-Man Story and it involves Time Travel and has basically broken every “Time Travel Rule” I have been stating over the last two reviews.  So I present you with this panel.

Yes Peter, you were WRONG!  I HAVE BEEN STATING THAT SINCE YOU, YOUR OLD BOSS AND YOUR SISTER WENT BACK IN TIME!  You may not have not effected your timeline, but you sure as the sun goes down, messed the one you were in now!!  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Spider-Man and time travel adventures do not mix well.  Few do…MOST DO NOT.  I like to add that Peter is again, out of character.  He went back in time to take care of something extremely important, but he hands that task to his sister and Jonah while he goes “makes this world better”.  Well Peter did you??

OBVIOUSLY NOT!

“Older” and “More wiser” Peter is supposed to be better than this.  I mean, C’Mon Son!  I get this is “fun story” but it’s really hard for me to look past this.  Now this is going to run this course through Older Peter’s mess and we will have to wait a few more issues before Younger Peter wants to be Spider-Man again.  Not liking the fact that this times Aunt May knows.  Not sure what Zdarsky was trying to go with this, but we’ll find out in the issues ahead.  Not liking it though.
This is nice to see.  Norman/Green Goblin just being crazy classic Green Goblin!  He’s mad, crazy, his identity is exposed.  He has nothing to lose so let’s just not waste time shall we?  Haven’t seen this kind of Norman in awhile, maybe a little bit in Amazing, but classic Green Goblin doing what he does best.  Zdarsky wins points for completely having Norman’s character on point.
