What did everyone think of the Venom trailer?

For some reason I’m getting this weird Dr. Seuss-like vibe from Venom’s appearance and body language in that last panel.

  1. I’m gonna actually say that Venom looks better than his Spider-Man 3 version. Other than that, why does this movie exist?

  2. I thought the trailer was pretty average, I like Venom’s look and voice, but it’s hard to feel excited when the film overall looks like a kind of generic action film. I also don’t generally like Venom as an anti-hero.

    As much as I don’t like him as an anti-hero, this panel is pretty hilarious, his attitude feels like a dark mirror of all the times Spider-Man’s complained about the lack of gratitude from the people he saves. And he does kind of remind me of the Grinch in the last bit!
