Certain outlets, ComicBookMovie.com being one of them, have released what appears to be a photo from the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming, showing Bokeem Woodbine donning the Shocker costume. From it we can see the classic yellow suit, as well as the shock-wave devices attached to his wrists/forearm.
It has also been said, that this will be the first of two suits will be wearing in the movie.
He has an Emmy nomination for Fargo, so he does seem like the type of actor who would be cast as the third most important villain.
Tiki Bar.
Tiki Bar
Tiki, Tiki Bar.
Tiki Bar.
The wonderful, marvelous Tiki Bar.

herbiepopnecker, if I could downvote comments here, I would have downvoted yours for saying “the Tiki Bar” instead of “the bar with no name”. 🙂
Yeh, well….not being snarky/sarcastic….who is Bokeem Woodbine?
First person who replies, “The guy who plays Shocker in the upcoming
Spider-Man movie has to pay his/her tab at the Tiki Bar.

My post was tongue in cheek about the “outrage” when Herman Schultz was changed to Montana in the Spec Spidey cartoon.
Not enough people care to matter this time, hornacek. At this rate, however, they may as well make Spider-man black. Or female… or a black female with all the race/gender swapping they’re doing in the movies. They should stop using the “stays true to the source material” line at this point.
I should be happy to see such attempts at diversity, but there’s something that feels so superficial about it. And forced. And pandering…
I like it.
This is an outrage! An African-American cannot play Montana in a movie!
I’m a big fan of this. Contemporary and yet faithful, annoying if he DOES get another suit! Love Shocker, hope he gets a good role in the movie – this is the first thing that’s really made me excited about Homecoming.
It reminds me a lot of that Shocker design from the Amazing Spider-Man 2 game…
