As part of Disneyland’s revamping of its Super Hero HQ, Spider-Man will be swinging into the Magic Kingdom to greet park visitors.
From DisneyParksBlog:
When the reimagined Super Hero HQ opens this fall at Disneyland park, everyone’s favorite web slinger is swinging in for the occasion. That’s right! Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will be making his Disneyland Resort debut in a heroic new character greeting location, where you can snap a photo, grab an autograph or just thank him for keeping us safe from the likes of Doctor Octopus and the Green Goblin!
If any of you are going to be headed out to Disneyland later this year, send us your pics with Spidey! And maybe give the Wallcrawler a hug. It’s been a hard eight years for our hero.
–George Berryman!
I’ve wondered about this since Disney acquired Marvel, but what does this mean for Universal’s Islands Of Adventure? Do they have a contract that will allow them to keep their Marvel section open, or will it have to be changed to something else?
Either way, I might have to plan a trip soon. I haven’t been to Universal since I was a kid, and I’d hate to miss out on it.
Looks like it might be time to take the kids!
