I decided to post a series of Black Cat memories in anticipation of her return. This is Felicia Hardy’s first meeting with Peter since she left for Europe and he married MJ. She appeared previously behind the scenes but never running into Peter until now in "Amazing Spider-Man" issue 329. This happened right after Peter lost his cosmic powers.

From "Spectacular Spider-Man" issue 119. This moment has always stayed with me. Writers are always trying to make the Spider-Man books fun, and Peter David always knew how to pull it off.

Another Beatles reference…and in another Green Goblin story. Coincidence? This is actually Gobbie’s first appearance (Amazing Spider-Man issue 14) and it consists of luring Spidey to Hollywood in an elaborate plot so he could…..bonk him […]

…I think the yellow haired Felicia MAY have been intended as Gwen initially….fortunatly they didnt make that mistake again when TSSM got launched
Yes, I know that. I meant in the comics. In the comics she had no superpowers originally.
She was blonde when she was Felicia Hardy. When she was ‘roided up by the Super Solider formula, her hair turned white.
I always wondered how Felicia looked in civilian clothes. A quick Google search always turns up with the Black Cat costume. I thought she was blond, like in the ’90’s cartoon?
Actually Godzilla, Flash had always known. One of the reasons he started dating Felicia was because she had dated Spider-Man.
Ah, I remember back when Flash was written correctly and all grown up…along with everyone else.
Larsen making sure everyone looked above 30 too.
I wonder what would have happened to that relationship if Flash found out about Felicia’s prior relationship with his hero? That could have been interesting.
I know thats an easy pun, but that “Cat got your tongue?” line works really well here.
Old school Erik Larson.
