New York, NY—May 14th, 2014—Because YOU demanded it! The fan-favorite series returns for a limited time inSUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #32 and #33! But how is the Superior Spider-Man still around? Otto Octavius ceded control of Peter Parker‘s brain back to Peter and erased all remnants of himself, didn’t he? Find out for yourself as the explosive creative team of Dan Slott, Christos Gage, Giuseppe Camuncoli and Adam Kubert take the Superior Spider-Man on a journey into the far future!
As Otto Octavius finds himself stranded in the year 2099 with no way home, he’ll unearth a mystery that will have fans guessing all the way until the epic SPIDER-VERSE event kicks off this November! How was Otto flung into the future? How will he return? And what happened while he was there? Find out as the blockbuster series that kept fans talking until the very end returns for a senses-shattering encore this fall inSUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN #32 and #33!

Well, that’s disheartening.
At first, and I guess reading too quickly,
I thought he would return in the *year* 2099.
So this is their backdoor after killing Doc Ock.
I hope the Peter Parker in 2099 kicks Otto’s ass.
Nice! Can’t keep a good bad guy down!…wait, maybe ‘bad good guy’?…
@9 I think the constant top 10 sales probably played at least some part.
@#8
I honestly think the reason it went on as long as it did was because it pissed off so many people.
@8 – I agree with this. Though I don’t think the whole SpOck thing will last for long. I say give it a year and he’ll be Doc Ock again.
@6 That’s find then, so long as one of you did, and it’s not just Marvel making things up again. 😉
Actually, if done right it could be a decent way to bring back true-ock to 616 – hopefully in his own body not as another copy of Pete (or as SpOck2099 – please not that!).
#5 – I’ll fess up. It was me! Go SpOck!
Alright, which one of YOU demanded it, ‘cos I sure as heck didn’t?
@2 – 😀 Lighting up right now.
This seemed like the perfect time for a 19.1 and 19.2
The numbers mean nothing *sobs*
🙂
It’s marketing… lighten up…
“all the way back to the classic Superior Spider-Man #19!” – Oh yes that “classic” issue that only came out 8 months ago. Is that meant to be some sort of joke?
