Many thanks to the artist (whose name I could not find for the life of me despite the picture’s signature) for this awesome rendering of the Wall Crawler for the cover of this Bronze Age paperback!

A house sigil by Lokiable. Do we have any Game of Throne’s fans here? This got me wondering what motto would other Spider-characters follow? House Osborn? House Jamieson? What do you think? – Adam

Just found this issue again, oh the good memories
I like how twisted and disturbed Pete looks here, as if the burden of being Spider-Man drives him to the brink of madness.
I’ve actually got a first edition of this book in my library, with the jacket protected by a mylar cover. Took me a while to hunt down a nice copy, but I had to get it for the cover artwork alone. The colors really pop, and I’m a sucker for the iconic Peter Parker-shirt rip to reveal the costume shot.
I remember my library had this book when I was a kid! I loved it!
Yep, Bob Larkin. Search on Google and you’ll find some other great Spidey paintings he did.
It’s a great piece, Don. The artist who did this beautiful work is Bob Larkin.
That is a beautiful picture. It should be a framed and hanged on a wall:)
