Thanks for the kind words, I hope you enjoy my next one this weekend.
Great review. I do expect Slott and Yost to interpret the Superior Spider-Man fairly differently.
I like your tone in the review and the fact that you can still muster enthusiasm for the title. I can’t get over the fact that MJ is written so poorly by Slott. It doesn’t make any sense to me at all that she would speak up to the pompous manner Pete’s been reacting. I am happy to see some spirit of Peter at the end of the issue, but to me it feels too early in the story. A story such as this could have used a slower build up. I’d figure Ock needs time to get used to the power in Peter’s body, but somehow Slott sidestepped that completely. To be honest, overall, I am just waiting for Pete to come back asap. Superior Spider-Man seems more like annoying or arrogant Spider-Man to me. The switch could have made an interesting storyline for a couple of issues. Not a whole new series.
But having said all that: I like the idea of video-reviews.
Thanks, I have some real fun stuff in store for the vid reviews later this week with Avengers and Daredevil.
I’m digging the addition of the vid reviews!
