Marvel artist Steve Rude of X-Men: Children of the Atom fame (among other projects) brings his adoration of classic 60s era artwork to Gwen Stacy, complete with a sadly ironic signature from the late Captain’s daughter.

Outgoing Venom artist, and upcoming Moon Knight artist, Declan Shalvey posted this great Spider-Man sketch on his Tumblr. If Ramos is ever unavailable I’d happy see Shalvey take a run at Amazing when it returns. […]
Spider-Art #93
It’s hard for me to make out the penciller credit, but the inks were done by Brett Breeding.

^ Steve Rude has worked on Spider-Man. Like I said, Spider-Man: Lifeline..
He did several off-beat limited series in the early 00s with several characters.
Good…but I would enjoy to see more traditional artwork from artists who have actually worked with Spidey, since we’re celebrating his anniversary…not the X-men’s.
Steve Rude is incredibly talented, one of my favorite artists!
I loved his Spider-Man: Lifeline series from 2001.
Just imagine him on the current books…
He’s done tons, mainly commissions. Just look up anything he does and it’s typically set in the Golden and Silver Age with modern appeal.
Wow! This one is great. What else has he done?
