@#7 and 8: I couldn’t agree more.
If they renamed Ultimate Spiderman to ‘The adventures of Spider-boy and his pointless irritating b-list super-friends’ then maybe I could watch it without feeling slightly annoyed.
Marvel could have produced a 3rd season of SS with the animation style of Ultimate Spider-Man. Keep the same production team from the first two seasons. But they chose to cancel it and replace it with garbage.
@#6 Spectacular Spiderman and the Animated Series were good. Ultimate sucks.
Ahh, a Spider-Man cartoon taken as seriously as Batman the Animated Series…wouldn’t that be something? Oh wait… http://robot6.comicbookresources.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/spectacular-spider-man.jpg
If I had to pick over him vs.John Romita, John would go all the way.
I agree his MJ look a bit off, but I could definitely have gotten used to that Gwen.
Bruce Timm drawing Marvel characters always felt a bit wrong to me.
Very intresting 🙂
Classic! Makes you wonder what a Bruce Timm Spidey animated show would’ve been like.
