Wow. It took four issues for Peter to get going in the Ultimate universe.
The origin story was over after the first 5 issues when he got the costume, but its not like we’re done learning about his character and supporting cast so we’ll still be getting some origin bits for a while I’m sure.
I think I may loose the three column format, and maybe try a two column deal and keep the pictures of the inside pages with the actual review.. see how that works.
The format would probably work better if the review was peppered with jpgs, but we aren’t allowed to do that, unfortunately.
Nice review. I’m afraid I haven’t been keeping track of this series very well. How long did it take for the origin story to get done?
Hmm.. looks totally different on my work computer… maybe tables aren’t the answer
@3 Lament Beast… I agree, I was hoping for those two to be pitted against one another, but looks like Miles will be trying to save his Uncle from the dark side. And thanks for the feedback. I just felt like messing around with a table in the code, I’m on the fence about it. I wasn’t a huge fan of the text wrap around the pictures because when I upload the review on my laptop it looks one way… and then I view it on my desktop with a wider monitor and it looks completely different. There is definitely a little bit too much blank space like Shaun said, so I’ll probably keep tweaking it. I have another idea I may try out with the next review.
“I don’t read Mexican.” *Facepalm* It’s all Spanish… I would have liked a Prowler vs Neo Spider-man throwdown but that doesn’t seem likely. Well atleast Miles’ is trying to learn from Peter’s time as Spider-man so he doesn’t, well, end up like him. I’m still a bit on the fence of jumping into the series, especially since it’s rather new. I’ll most likely just buy the TPBs when they come out.
Oh, and Mr. Bradley, why the article style set-up? The old set-up was fine in my opinion.

Bah, yeah, I would have preferred it if they had fought each other a while before coming to the realization of each other’s identities, but maybe the whole Scooby-Doo removing the mask reveal is a bit cliche at this point
Interesting review layout, not sure if I’m a fan of it though, due to a lot of blank space. Still, the review is well done as always and I never got the feel that Bendis was going to make Miles and Prowler enemies like you thought? Also it looks like Prowler is coming to Miles’ aid in the April solicits.
