Many thanks to our friend Greg XB for putting this video together. He was inspired by Bertone’s Betty articles which you can find on this link. The last scene is priceless.

This video makes me laugh. Word of wisdom to the kid, if you’re going to perform a song don’t point the camera at your crotch.

EBONY LEOPARD> This was from the 1981 Spider-Man series that ran on syndication around the same time as Amazing Friends. No one remembers this one, but every one remembers Amazing Friends.
wow, what year were these from? The music must have gotten carried over to Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends (I prefered the voice of Peter in that series over any adult Peter I’ve heard animated).
SIMON JAMES> Nor are they as bad as Betty blowing up Flash’s apartment and leaving him homeless ON CHRISTMAS!
MJ’s actions in Sins Past arent as bad as Betty leaving Ned on their honeymoon to screw an ex.
GREGXB –
Sins Past.
Nuff said? 🙂
To add more context to Betty’s “What could be more important than taking me to the dance” as it zoomed in on the head of that Doom-Bot, Betty was at the UN with Jameson that same day where Doom tried to take over and was replacing people, including JJ with robot doubles.
She had a front row seat to all this, and she thinks Peter not taking her to a dance is far more important.
She nearly got blasted by Dr. Doom and was almost killed, and Peter not taking her to a dance is far more important
SIMON JAMES> Name one terrible thing MJ did that’s worse than Betty’s track record.
Aha nice1 Still reckon MJ has done more bad things, but whatever…
Last scene is sick! I love how Betty haughtily fixes her hair when she sets Peter up for the fall and goes with Jameson.
The “I’m not” felt more childish and immature rather than bitchy
@6
Nothing wrong with giving blood. But the way she is talking to Peter, and that snide way she says “Well, I’m not!” Come on, the guy doesn’t want to give blood… leave him be.
MJ would have encouraged him to, maybe poked a little fun at him for not doing it, but Betty was just being a bitch.
@3
I remember seeing that Jonah scene years ago when i was a kid in the 90’s and occasionally rented spider-man vhs(and remember mentioning it on ehre when asking bertone about betty’s horribleness in other mediums), that one was from a black cat episode i believe. Even as a kid i though to myself Betty’s blowing off Pete to go on a date with 50 something year old boss, thats just wrong!!!!!
Although Im surprised one of you horrible person moments is betty mad at pete because he won’t give blood with her. I mean come on she’s GIVING BLOOD!!! Then again I suppose it could still work, she could have aids after all.
Yea…notice how she walks off after he doesn’t have it at first. Just walks off…no word.
After the DVD release I thought it would be easier to find the series in good quality to torrent
Halloween present? Seriously?
Betty Brant is an awful person
I torrented the series, hadn’t seen it in years. I knew I had to end it with the Jonah scene. It slays me too.
The last scene with Jonah kills me. It’s like everyone is in grade school.
Betty Brant thinks black people are ‘terrible creatures’
Thats pretty horrible
