  1. The only thing I am looking forward to Norman-wise is him killing off that dipshit Phil Urich Hobgoblin. If Norman has gets the honor of wringing his neck and ridding the Marvel-verse of that little twerp, I will gain a lot of respect for Osborn as a Roderick Kinglsey fan myself. Please, Marvel, let that happen!

  2. Wow…what a news feed page, first Bertone’s Flash/Betty work then Alba and now this!

It really seemed like the next thing in line for Osborn was his ‘fair’ trial, I hope Marvel is not going to gloss over that again. I don’ think they will though, with Osborn locked down on the cover here I’d bet he’ll remain in the Raft for the duration of this arc. He’ll be, once again, leading others from within the prison walls.

I would assume his ‘dark hand’ will be the loyalists from his recent Goblin Cult, I’d be surprised if the villians (aside from Covington) from the Osborn mini make an appearance…They’re most likely off at Obscurity Isle…or, better yet, maybe the Scriers will re-emerge as his ‘dark hand’!

Its nice to see the Green Goblin on the cover though, makes me optimistic that Osborn will don the costume…its been too long, in my opinion, if he breaks out of the Raft, it better be as the Goblin and not the Iron Patriot.

It does seem thought like Marvel is once again piggy-backing on the fan base of the Green Goblin, b/c you’d think that Osborn would be a bit played out right now (and that’s coming from a huge fan!). All this makes me even more certain that within a year or two we’ll have an ongoing Osborn-centered title…that’d be wonderful if ya ask me…

This is one way for Marvel to get me to buy a Spider-title right now, I’ll definitely pick this up despite my current ban on ASM and the other Spider books.

  3. I want Neal Adams to do a Spider-Man cover. That would be wonderful, like he did the Cap, DD, and Punisher ones.

  4. I gotta say Neal Adams+Modern Coloring=Win, this and the DD#1 variant he did both look awesome.

  5. Yeah he’s both. Like Ultron or Baron Zemo. They’ll still find time to menace Hank Pym and Cap separately. I think GG will do the same with Spidey. Plus, the last time Spidey faced Norman without his Avengers buddies in American Son, he got his ass handed to him. We cant let the record stand like that

  6. Im excited. besides the fact that I reallllllly like the Dark Avengers series, Im most excited to finally have Spideys arch enemy back. I cant wait to see those two throw down again!

  7. Hasn´t there already been a New Avengers point one issue? Or am I just confused?

  8. I would like to see Norman use a different name for his team this time out. Let’s see he isn’t pretending to be a shining hero and he is setting himself up to fight the Avengers… you know it has been a long time since we saw a real Masters of Evil team…

  9. I assume his dark avengers is his group of unknown villains that helped him escape from marvel gitmo. it makes sense that they would be his men as nobody can claim who their are without admitting to the existence of the holding facility which nobody wants to do.
