Comingsoon.net got a great scoop when they interviewed actor J.K. Simmons. He confirmed he is voicing J.Jonah Jameson in the new Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon. Now if we could only get Josh Keaton to voice Spidey!

I’ve been living under a rock for the last few months. Is there any news about the other actors participating in the show?
Best move they have made so far. He is like Comissioner Gordon in the new Batman movies, the perfect man for the job.
That’s great news. I hated the Raimi films but Simmons was a complete success as JJJ for me.
Well played, Marvel. This has moved me from absolutely not interested to I’ll be watching this. Cast Josh Keaton as Spidey and I’ll be watching as soon as it airs.
When I read JJJ scenes in comics, JK Simmons is whos voice I hear already
The movies loss is the cartoons gain.
And the cartoon has a leg up on the new movie…
Awesome choice right there.
Good move
Y’know, IMO, there’s already two strikes against this cartoon, between the “Team-Up” aspect, and Spec Spidey (arguably the best Spidey cartoon EVER) being canceled to make room for it…
But this is at least ONE reason I’ll definitely check it out!
(Whether I KEEP watching, though…time will tell!)
That is sweet… really looking forward to this.
Awesome!
