I’ve been staring at the new picture of Andrew Garfield as the new Spider-Man several times today. The image makes me think of his first appearance where he learns that “with great power, there must also come great responsibility.” What do you think,is this a shot from another origin sequence?

What do I think?
http://www.bleedingcool.com/2011/01/13/whats-actually-happening-in-the-first-spider-man-movie-image/
I think you and the guys at Bleeding Cool are riding the same train of thought…
No he’s way too beat up for this to have been from the origin unless he was hit by a car
I agree with iron_patriot…the origin should be done in flashbacks or during the credit sequence (ala Hulk 2008 or Superman II).
Heh, maybe they’re making the Lizard Uncle Ben’s killer now.
{JUST KIDDING!}
IF they do the origin,it should be shown in flashbacks detailed enough to give you what you need if you don’t know it but short enough so as not to bore the ones who know it like how they did it in The Incredible Hulk 2008 movie.
Like,Peter getting his powers,wrestling,letting the guy get away,coming home to find his Uncle Ben shot, chasing the guy who killed him,finding out he was the same robber he let get away,leaving him for the police and walks off into the night.(Basically the picture we saw)
He’s got giant claw marks on his chest and on his face. He just fought the Lizard here.
THANK YOU!!! I brought this up over on the boards as well. Twice.
Maybe, but that would imply that he had a tough time against the burglar.
