I know a lot of people are concerned about the new Spider-Man Broadway Musical, but I am here to put your minds and hearts at ease! As I was purchasing my tickets to see this musical (Yes! I am going in December), I realized that Jennifer Damiano has been cast as Mary Jane. Jennifer is no stranger to Broadway as she originated the role of ‘Natalie’ in Next to Normal and received a Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. I will attest to the fact that Jennifer can sing quite well, and act, too! So, I think that this is one less thing that we have to worry about. Here is but a taste of what she can do!

I’ve got my tickets for March so I’ll be curious to hear what you think.
Does her casting make Norman’s costume or Swiss Miss any less stupid? =)
I’m not getting a Mary Jane vibe from the video, but I can’t go to NY to see the show anyways, so I’m not too worried about how it turns out, unless they tape it and put it out on dvd. I can just pretend it was a bad dream caused by late night pizza if it turns out to be a horrible show!
Next to Normal is the best show I have ever seen, second to Wicked (and I see shows roughly bi-monthly)
Jennifer Damiano is amazing and I can’t wait to see her!
BtwStella- I’m going in December too!
