I review the final Gang War stories for Amazing Spider-Man and it’s tie ins. While there is some great art work, the story itself falls apart from lack of… actually plot. Really not much happens outside what we thought would happen and the tie ins actually hurt the book even more.

Also, Spidey’s big motivation for fighting Madame Masque – despite stopping crime – is that he blames her for shooting Randy. But that had nothing to do with her. That was all Hammerhead’s idea. MM (pretending to be his girlfriend at the time) literally tells HH that it’s a bad idea.
