I review the beginning of Spider-Man: Gangwar by Zeb Wells and Cody Zigler along with the two crossover titles, Luke Cage and Spider-Woman. I give the main book a high grade, even if it does falter a few times with making Peter seem to have a reactive response and going back to “What did Peter Do?” story line. Luke Cage is an ok book, while Spider-Woman has a great hook, but is caught in a crossover event.

“It’s actually a bait and switch and they’re there to shoot Janice and take out the last of the Lincoln family.”
When the goons show up and shoot Randy, they’re there to shoot him, not Janice. They say “There he is!” and “Shoulda kept your mouth shut, Robertson”. And Madame Masque tells Hammerhead that she doesn’t like that he “shot the kid” referring to Randy. Unless I’m missing something, Randy was the target here, not Janice.
