@hornacek: It’s Peter’s surprise housewarming party. The gang brought a bunch of stuff over they didn’t want/need (like the poster) to decorate his sparse apartment. The poster can be seen randomly throughout Peter’s time living in the apartment across numerous runs. I guess this counts as its first appearance.
So much going on in these panels.
Peter obviously wants to discuss his relationship with MJ, who does not want to talk about it. Flash is oblivious to this and MJ is eager to take advantage of this by inserting him into her conversation with Peter.
Are the three of them the only ones there, or is this a party? Seems weird if it’s just the three of them and Flash sits on the couch right next to them.
Purple cans of soda. LOL
Finally, the poster on the wall behind them appears to say “EVERY DAY IN EVERY WAY I AM GETTING BETTER AND BETTER”. There was a keychain with this printed on it in one of the backpacks in the PS4 game. I had read a “The comicbook references to all backpack items” article about the game years ago and I knew this phrase was from some panel in one of the comics but didn’t remember it was this.
