I own this Spidey issue today as part of the Marvel Epic Collection archives. Thanks for highlighting many of these now classic panels. Someday, I hope to own them all as part of Marvel’s paperback reprints.
There wasn’t a time-jump between ASM #122 and #123, right? #123 starts with Norman’s body being taken away, right? So this panel is literally 1 (?) day after Gwen has been killed (unless there’s a time-jump in the middle of #123). I know MJ is trying to help here, but Peter should definitely be in mourning at home and not dragged out to a party.
Also, is the man in the top-left corner supposed to be someone? It’s a big closeup of him so I was wondering if it was someone at Marvel (Stan?).
