Jumping on a rainy June day, I review Amazing Spider-Man #3/897. A brutal issue, but in a good way. As John Romita Jr’s artwork continues to be one of the best things about this book. The dark undertone, the characterization with Tombstone is fantastic. However… what did Spider-Man do 6 months ago? Why would a debt collector for a hospital accept Venmo payments? Why is Paul so angry and yet such a nice guy? How come no one seems to care if Peter Parker is ok and instead calling him a lazy bum? Will we get answers this issue… maybe a mysterious call on my watch will know.
