Wow that dude with the mike was a moron. Anyway still hype about this game!
Wow. I finally made it on the front page!
And I tend to cut Craig some slack because he’s not a video game journalist like the dudes at GT or IGN. Although mistaken the thing for Superman was pretty stupid.
The only spidey game I didn’t like was Spidey 3 (didn’t play friend or foe)
All the other games totally rocked, including the Playstation ones.
The only thing that doesn’t look so good to me on this one is the way they’re stressing how the 616 Spidey is all about webbing, and using web hammers and other web weapons. That kind of thing shouldn’t be a standard fighting tool in the game. If he were gonna use a web hammer in a comic, it’d last one panel of a 3 issue storyline.
I just hope it doesn’t feel like i’m playing a green lantern game.
I really dont like that interviewer. I dont think the past games were that bad. I mean the ps1 games were awesome at the time (imo), Web of Shadows i thought was fun on PS3,, Spder-man 2 was just damned good (wasnt much for 3) and i really liked Ultimate Spiderman. I wouldnt of said that as a rule they sucked.
Im not much for this one more will be revealed crap. I just want to know and possibly be suprised since with 2099 i dont think anyone was.
someone needs to take the mike away from that guy! “why doesn’t spider-man shred people and kill like wolverine?” “Is this game gonna suck like the other Spider-Man games, Superman?” PLease. Friend or Foe while weak to me, wasn’t for an adult demographic, and Web of Shadows (PS2 version) was only sucky as it was 10 years to late, but it seemed most enjoyed the next gen versions. I liked the Spidey 3 game despite it’s glitches, even though it was slightly derivative of Spidey 2, but with the costume element added. Gotta agree with Izzy, that no one was surprised about 2099, but I think the level looks great!
It was still great to see Spidey 2099 officially confirmed for a leading role in a video game, I gotta admit! 🙂
Somebody needs to screw up and leak that 4th dimension, the “see the next dimension” promotion for the site would be fine if going on the site actually revealed such.
Waiting this long to reveal that 2099’s the third which we already knew thanks to GameStop was pretty underwhelming…
