According to MJ in Mary Jane and Black Cat 2, there’s a one in 343 chance that she’ll get 3 skulls. Which is enough for MJ to angst about but enough that she can use her powers a lot without it actually happening.

As I recall, when she uses her powers it’s like a slot machine with 3 symbols that come up. If it comes up with 3 skulls, she dies. But the odds of that happening are … Spock, what are the odds of 3 skulls coming up for Mary Jane?

Wasn’t there supposed to be a chance that Mary Jane’s powers could manifest negatively? Isn’t it supposed to be a gamble or something, or did she get that fixed?
