THE SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN WILL RETURN
This fall, Dan Slott will return to the smarter, stronger, and superior wall-crawler in Superior Spider-Man. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
@ John to be fair, there is a lot of time skip in the current run of ams that makes it possible for the 2 series to coexist. It is true that it sucks that no event from one seems to be impacting the other.
Is anyone bothered by Slott Spider-Man title seems to not co- exist with Amazing Spider-Man.
Besides the fact hi is wearing the Osborn suit, neither title are acknowledging the other.

What I’m wondering about is it really present-day Ock who’s going to be the Superior Spider-Man. The FCBD issue had Ock teaming up with Kraven (and they apparently had the Mad Thinker or Destiny on speed-dial since their plan relied on Peter listening to the police scanner at the right moment, but let’s ignore that). Issues 27-30 feature Ock as the villain and issue 32 features Kraven and another villain. So I’m wondering if it’s really Ock since Ock seems to be pretty busy right now. I’m wondering if it’s Ock from the past, another character or Slott’s new creation, Spider-Boy.
@Aqu@ Not your fault. I think everyone is getting tired of having the same 5-6 plot points reused ad nauseum (clones, Peter/MJ will they won’t they, Superior Spiderman, Spider-verse and looser Peter).
I am NOT looking forward to this. Slott’s Spider-man has been… Bland so far, and in usual Slott fashion Peter takes a backsit. First arc was all about silk, second is shipping up to be about Spider-Boy, and 3rd about superior Spider-man. So far the arcs also have made little sense (in usual Slott fashion), and I have little hope that Superior Spiderman re-introduction will make sense in the context of the greater marvel Universe.
Stop. Please stop.
No, seriously: as someone who enjoyed both Superior (the Slott one and the Gage one, which ended too soon), and always thought Slott writes Otto better than he does Peter, he has also overstayed his welcome on Spider-man for at least another decade. Especially when he uses characters he doesn’t understand (talking about Morlun and Shatra).
Also, have I lived long enough already to feel tired of recycled ideas or is it Marvel’s fault for abusing them?
