I don’t use self checkout because I don’t work at the grocery store!!! Want me to do it? Show me where I clock in!
I do not use self-checkout unless I absolutely need to (i.e. the cashier lines are extremely long) because doing so just encourages the store to replace more of their human cashiers with self-checkouts.
Eventually most (all?) jobs will be replaced by robots, but we shouldn’t be helping them.
