The Best Marvel Mobile Games

There’s a whole marvel universe to discover out there, but perhaps the best place to start is in the pocket of your jeans right now. That’s right, your smartphone. Whilst there are lots of full-size games on offer on various consoles, there are a surprising number of games featuring Marvel superheroes available to play on your phone. The good news is that most of these games are a great deal cheaper than their console counterparts and better still, you don’t have to wait any time at all to start playing. So, phones at the ready, let the countdown commence.

Marvel Puzzle Quest, by Marvel

If you’re running an older smartphone or you just enjoy the simpler things in life then Marvel and Puzzle Quest could be the best option for you. The game is easy enough to figure out, you just need to match three of the same Marvel characters to progress. The game plays out as a sort of adventure, with a bit of card matching thrown in. Each card is adorned with a unique drawing of a beloved hero or villain making this the perfect game for fans of the comics. Even better, thanks to the simplicity of the game, you can play totally offline, making it a great game for travelling with.

Iron Man, by Playtech

Next on the list is one of casino game giant Playtech’s most popular offerings, the Iron Man slot. This game will suit fans of the original Iron Man down to the ground. The slot has a slightly retro feel with its traditional super hero soundtrack and comic book style graphics. Whilst it’s totally possible to play for money, you can play this mobile slot for free. A lot people don’t realise that it is possible to play slot games without spending money, but there are a surprising number that offer this option. Vegas Slots Online have collated a list of casino sites that offer free slots games, so that you can decide if you like them before committing any of your money to it. That way you can try out the Iron Man slot and if you like it, put some money on it and if you don’t, well, if you like Marvel then you will.

Spider Man Unlimited, by Gameloft

There are an absolute ton of Spider Man games you can play but one of the best is Spider Man Unlimited that was developed by Gameloft. This game is available on both mobile and tablet, so if you fancy seeing things on a bigger screen then you can go for it. The game takes a first-person approach to the Marvel universe, allowing you to visit a handful of beautifully artworked environments where you can play as one of more than two hundred different characters. True fans will of course be able to name every single one, but if you fancy catching up on your Spider Man heroes and villains then you could go a lot further wrong than with a couple of hours on this game.

Marvel Strike Force, by FoxNext

Marvel and FoxNext Games worked collaboratively to bring this brilliant mobile game to life. The interesting twist is that in this Marvel world, both heroes and villains must work together. We’re not used to seeing this level of collaboration, either from Marvel or from their heroes and villains, but we are so here for it. The reason for all this good-feeling between characters can be summed up in one terrifying word; Ultimus. This guy is the most evil threat that the world has ever seen and it will take an entire Marvel universe to take him down, plus your skillful thumbs tapping away on your smartphone screen.

Marvel Future Revolution, Netmarble

One of the most recent additions to this list is Marvel Future Revolution, a brilliant game developed by giants of the mobile gaming world Netmarble. This game has a massive open world format, the kind that has only really been possible for mobile games in the last couple of years. You’ll be role playing as one of Marvel’s superheroes and you could be doing it alongside up to fifty other players at once. Whilst this game will download on any smartphone that has enough room, it’s really recommended for newer models. There are settings that you can alter to make it easier to run for older phones, but with graphics this good and a multiplayer system this advanced, it’s almost worth buying a new phone to experience it properly.
