Did we already know from the previous trailer that Cletus got the Carnage symbiote from literally biting Eddie and tasting his blood? So it looks like Cletus doesn’t technically *get* a symbiote like in the comics – his blood is infected with Eddie’s blood so I guess he transforms into Carnage from the inside out?
Was this how Eddie became Venom in the first movie? I did see that film but I was mostly hate-watching it for a podcast, so I blocked out most of it after.
