I have a bad feeling about this.

@Michael – In fairness, he’s projecting a really bad costume. 🙂
@hornacek- In fairness, the Chameleon is using a hologram projector this issue instead of ordinary disguises, something he’d never done before.
@hornacek — I just looked up Sandman’s Frightful Four costume. Yikes! That is quite a frightful design for headwear.
“The Chameleon!?! How did you get –? Where’s that old lady –?”
How is Spidey this confused as to what just happened? He knows who the Chameleon is and what his skills are. He is literally the first villain he fought (not counting the Burglar) – this woman disappearing and being replaced by the Chameleon should not be this surprising to him.
Ah yes, the jigsaw-pattern Chameleon costume he had for a little while before everyone realized it looked bad. Sort of like Sandman’s Frightful Four costume. Best to pretend these bad costume changes never happened.
