I’m just being stubborn.
Though honestly, if it was up to me, I would write a story where Norman had gotten hold of Gwen’s DNA or ova somehow, brainwashed MJ in order to torment Peter, and that infamous bedroom scene was all in his mind. That’s how much I hate “Sin’s Past.”
I seem to recall reading issues (and an entire graphic novel) that told me that MJ knew Peter was Spidey for years.
I also recall issues where Gwen’s children are characters in the story.
So I’m pretty sure both of these things happened. 🙂
@Jack Brooks, incorrect!
DeFalco established in ASM#258 (or around that issue) that she had known he was Spidey for years.
I have no opinion about the Gwen nonsense, but it’s completely irrelevant to MJ’s timeline for discovering Spidey’s ID.
MJ did not know he was Spider-Man. Just like Gwen was never pregnant.
This is why thought bubbles don’t work. Because she’s supposed to already know Peter is secretly Spider-Man, so that inner monologue makes no sense in retrospect.
