Nice find Adam!
Yeah, how is Spidey supposed to pull himself forward on both webs together?
@hornacek, Nate filled the void of a close brother-in-arms vacated by Ben Reilly after his death. They had an easygoing and rare camaraderie (sometimes known by the dumb term “bromance”), which I’ve only seen equaled by Ben, Matt Murdock and Johnny Storm, of course. It’s a shame that’s now been halved with the ruination of Ben’s character, and I’m not even sure if Nate is alive or not, but he’s certainly no longer relevant to the Spidey books.
The only thing I don’t like about this panel is the anatomically awkward way Spidey’s left arm is shooting the web, but that’s the 90s I suppose. Still miss that era a bit, warts and all.
I miss Nate Grey. I liked his friendship with Peter. I can’t remember exactly how Nate’s series ended but I remember I hated it. Also I feel like there was never any resolution with their friendship – Nate just disappeared and Peter never mentioned him again (if there was I don’t remember it).
Holy crap!
@Adam — That’s a great find!
