Also, it’s just occurred to me, has Doc Ock really never had a story where he turned into a giant octopus monster for real? Get on it, Spencer!
It’s ironic that after Doc Ock saved Peter’s life in his last appearance, Peter is willing to call him a ‘monster with no respect for human life’ here, but after Ock kills Peter and outright steals his life in Superior, Peter begins regarding him as a good guy deep down…
It’s also ironic that this is a storyline I kind of hate, but which I have to be thankful to, for undoing Otto’s death at the hands of Kaine, which was a development I hated at the end of a storyline I otherwise loved.
