EMPYRE Tie-In!

The rise and fall of the Supreme Accuser. The end of a war, the end of an ERA…and the birth of an even more dangerous world. Carol Danvers must make a choice that will define her life and the lives of those closest to her.
The cancelled MJ variant actually reminded me of Vampira, who I guess would fit the Vampire theme thanks to her name. The dress is also very similar to the one Vampira wore in Plan 9, though there, she was playing a Zombie.
True, and I’m not an Adams Family fan but I know them through pop-culture-osmosis, but I saw that cover and I instantly thought “That’s Morticia Adams”. The look, the pose – that can’t be an accident.
@hornacek
I believe the variants were meant to celebrate the Morbius Movie, as the variant collection was called “Living Vampire Variants”
But I could definitely see where you might think that it’s a homage to Morticia Adams, only thing, Morticia Adams is human not a vampire.
Is that cancelled variant supposed to be a homage to Morticia Adams?
Why was that gorgeous variant cancelled? I don’t get it.
As for the normal Bagley cover, it reminds me of the 1994 ‘Power & Responsibility’ arc when Peter was trapped in Ravencroft (and Ben had to rescue him).
