It shouldn’t come as any surprise. PAD (the very same writer) recently elaborated on this idea of Felicia coming to accept his civilian life in Symbiote Spider-Man, which occurred three years prior during the Alien Costume Saga. Her identity was publicly known almost immediately after her first appearance, so Peter’s never had an issue using her name in public. It happened around the time she was admitted into a mental institution to avoid a prison sentence and pardoned shortly thereafter.
@Andrew: I’m not totally sure about this, but I believe her identity was public.
But…. he literally just called her “Felicia” in public.
