Peter Parker, Globetrotter: How Spider-Man Would Fare if He Lived in One of These Countries

Screen Rant recently confirmed Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 will see Spider-man jet-setting across Europe. With the first movie orientated around his life in Queens, it will be interesting to see how he fares abroad. That got me wondering: how would the web-slinger do if he made his displacement permanent? Is he better off halfway across the world, or back home in the US-of-A?
Germany
MCU Spider-man’s debut in Captain America: Civil War took place at Leipzig/Halle Airport, and Homecoming 2’s crew has confirmed shooting for the sequel will start in Berlin.
Pros

Universal healthcare: For Spider-man, breaking a bone is an occupation hazard. 24/7 access to medical care is a must.
EU Internet Regulations: Online data protection is a massive priority in the European Union, something helpful to keeping a secret identity secret.
Cons
Negative association: The events that occurred at Leipzig/Halle Airport may have been traumatic for a young Peter Parker. He could be reluctant to return.
UK
The Homecoming 2 production team has also confirmed London as a shooting location. London happens to be home to Jessica Miriam Drew, more often referred to as Spider-Woman. Maybe we’ll get to see new additions from the Spiderverse.
Pros
Public transit: The UK is a small country with a vast public transportation network. Spider-man could easily travel from crime to crime.
Money-making potential: Unlike back home, 18 is the legal adult age for everything in the UK. Peter Parker could take his chances on online slots in only a couple years. Gambling laws are more relaxed, so he would have more options that are lower risk, including free spins no deposit UK citizens benefit from.
Cons
The weather: The non-stop rain may disrupt the effectiveness of his web-making formula.

2. Schooling: The UK and USA have very different school systems, and Peter might struggle to adjust from being in “high school” to being in what the UK calls “college”.
France
With French actress Louna auditioning for the role of Gwen Stacy, according to Movie Web, the franchise may be taking the character in a more European direction.
Pros
Gwen Stacy: If Gwen is French, I’m sure both Peter Parker and long-time fans will enjoy seeing the web-slinger hang around her home country.
Public support: France has a soft spot for superheroes. Recently, they’ve awarded a citizenship to Mamoudou Gassama for scaling a four-story building to save a young boy. They celebrate him as the “Spider-man of the 18th”; imagine how they would react to the original.

Cons
Old architecture: France is full of century-old priceless buildings. Spider-man won’t be making any friends by accidentally destroying one in the pursuit of a foe.
Language barrier: As far as the MCU has established, Peter Parker does not speak French. With France as the country with the lowest English proficiency in Europe, Peter might struggle to acclimatize.
Spider-man: Homecoming 2 will give Peter Parker the chance to expand his reach. However, while he may fare well in other countries, it is difficult to think of him as separate from New York City. He is, after all, the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
