Comments: Just when you thought Dan Slott was gone, he rears his head once more. I had no idea until now he was working with Gage on this, but it shouldn’t have come as too much of a surprise as he penned Spider-Verse in 2014. It’s a bit odd that the Inheritors are the villains once more. We’ve already seen them defeated (their even more powerful father Solus went down in seconds) so where’s the raised stakes? From the solicits it seems like they’re coming for 616, so cant Spidey call on the help of his fellow Avengers, who are immune to the Inheritor’s feasting, instead of the vulnerable Spiders?

Comments: A good thing about having a new Spider-Verse event is seeing the Spiders created since 2014 mingling with the old guard. Houser has done a great job penning Annie up until now and I’m very curious to see how she interacts with her 90’s counterpart. With RYV no longer solicited and MJ back in Peter’s arms over in ASM (spoilers, I guess!), is this the last we’ll see of Annie and family?

God, it’s good to be back!
