Marvel sent me two preview images. One for the new Superior Octopus series, the other was for a re-branded Spider-Gwen called Ghost Spider. The Doc Ock book is expected to come out in October. The two series will be previewed at this years San Diego comic con. What do you think? Will you pick these up? Who do you think will write and draw them?

I hope Ghost Spider picks up from where “Spider Gwen” stops. That is the only series i’m interested
Spider-Gwen never appealed to me, so I’m less enthusiastic about Ghost Spider.
I might get the first issue of Superior Octopus, but that’s about it. The two regular Spidey titles is enough of a drain on my pocket. *L*
Superior Octopus sounds interesting… I wonder if Slott will be writing or involved? I thought Slott might try and include Horizon University and Superior Octopus in Fantastic Four somehow (if I remember correctly Spider Island established that Max Modell and Reed Richards know each other) but guess Horizon University would be a part of this new book.
Like Spider-Gwen, so renaming her Ghost Spider sounds interesting (although I like the Ghost Spider name)- glad they are continuing Spider-Gwen in some form rather then going into limbo though.
Will give both books a chance!
I’m surprised it took them this long to do a ‘superior octopus’ book. I really hope it’s short-lived though, Otto has become so overexposed and poorly handled of late, and I think he needs a bit of a rest. On the plus side, ‘Ghost Spider’ is definitely a better name than Spider-Gwen!
