  1. I really like the build-up to her first proper appearance, I can imagine the speculation about what she looked like would’ve been on the same level as who the Goblin was at the time. I also find it interesting that even before she became Peter’s main love interest or had been shown properly, she was given such a degree of importance.

  2. This drawing of MJ shows that she would have looked totally different if Ditko had drawn her first actual appearance. No way the Lee/Romita Mary Jane would have her hair covered up in a kerchief.
