  1. I notice that Roger Stern co-wrote this issue. I’ve never been able to find it since, but I am sure that when the Hobgoblin first appeared, I read an article (in Marvel Age?) that said the original plan was for him to debut in ASM #238, reappear in ASM #239, 244-245, and then in PPSSM #85 his identity would be revealed. If this is true then they did not anticipate how the mystery of the Hobgoblin’s identity would take the readers by storm and decided to stretch out the mystery.

    Does anyone else reading at this time remember this, or am I just crazy? (“It can be two things” responses not necessary)
