I saw Black Panther twice over the weekend (I had a little too much fun the first time), and I really enjoyed it! What did everyone else think?
In today’s Panel of the Day we continue slightly from where we left off last week. Spidey DOES NOT actually explain to Black Panther the story so far (probably because it was already recapped earlier in the issue), so I’ll fill in the blanks. Basically, Stegron (The Dinosaur Man) is trying to take over the world with his army of dinosaurs (again) and Black Panther and Spidey, with the help of Curt Connors (aka, The Lizard), are trying to stop him with their science expertise.
I like how they’re both referring to each other by nicknames here. It’s the little things, after all.
Be sure to keep an eye on Splash Page Sunday in the future for the BIG reveal!

I love how the newscaster mentions dinosaurs and Black Panther instantly says “Stegron!” I haven’t read this issue, but I’d like to believe that before this panel BP has not seen Stegron and no one has told him that Stegron is the villain, but he hears “dinosaurs” and jumps to the (correct) conclusion that Stegron is to blame.
