I really miss this Spider-Man, writers have gotten caught up in the eternally unlucky everyman aspect of the character to the point that he now comes across as a loser more often than not. Back then, he could rise to the challenge and get through his problems all on his own no matter how dire things were.
It inspired me a lot! It helped and got me through one of my toughest battles.
