THE CROSSOVER BETWEEN VENOM AND X-MEN BLUE STARTS HERE!
Spinning out of the events of Venomverse, the Children of the Atom and the Lethal Protector team up to take down an extradimensional threat! This is it, folks, the team-up you’ve been asking for: X-MEN BLUE and VENOM must band together in the cold reaches of space to protect our universe from a threat more diabolical than you can imagine. But will EDDIE BROCK, his faithful SYMBIOTE, MARVEL GIRL, CYCLOPS, ICEMAN, BEAST and ANGEL be enough to save this universe? I really, really hope so.
Actually if you had asked me what the difference was between Zodiac and Scorpio I wouldn’t have been able to tell you (except that one is a great David Fincher movie and the other is a Simpsons Bond villain). I guess that ASM story wasn’t memorable enough to make me remember who the antagonists were.
Plus, I didn’t get any emails when George and Ryan’s comments were posted. Hmm.
Actually the preview is completely wrong. it was “Scorpio” that was tossed a year into the future. To him, it was just yesterday. However, the rest of The Zodiac such as: Gemini, Aquarius, Cancer, ect have had a year to prepare. If you look at the previews, that is exactly what they did, by putting their people in place. Having the Zodiac Key be freed so when Scorpio returns, the Key goes to him and the rest of the Zodiac is ready to go. However, what does that mean for Peter? “Gosh, forgot it has been a year, I better call Mocking Bird, the Black Panther and SHIELD.”
“On Feb. 1, 2018 only one day has passed as far as Zodiac is concerned since the day Spidey threw him into the future. But for Spidey, a whole year has passed. Zodiac hasn’t had a year to plan anything. As far as he’s concerned, he just saw Spidey yesterday.”
You’d think after all those Doctor Who episodes Slott would at least have a basic understanding. And apparently, according to the solicit, not so much.
“NEARLY ONE YEAR AGO Spider-Man hurled the dangerous madman called Zodiac a full year into the future. IN THIS ISSUE Spidey catches up to him, and Zodiac’s had a whole year to prepare for their rematch!”
Wait, no. That’s not how time travel works. If on Feb. 1, 2017 (just chose that date for this example) Zodiac was thrown 1 year into the future to Feb. 1, 2018, then for him, Feb. 1, 2017 was yesterday. On Feb. 1, 2018 only one day has passed as far as Zodiac is concerned since the day Spidey threw him into the future. But for Spidey, a whole year has passed. Zodiac hasn’t had a year to plan anything. As far as he’s concerned, he just saw Spidey yesterday.
