Dang. Someone likes drawing really detailed buildings in complex perspective. I like.
This artwork is a perfect example of how it’s sometimes a shame that parts of the illustration must necessarily be covered with dialogue balloons.
This all sounds better than Amazing right now. : (
@Enigma_2099 @RDMacQ
At least this means the “relashionship” with Mockingbird will go nowhere (right?).
@RDMacQ
And just like every other f*****’ book, it will lead absolutely NOWHERE! We just throw her in there to once again, bait longtime fans into hopefully caring about the book. Maybe this will be the one… maybe we’ll finally see them back together again! We’ll just have to buy the book and see.
Yeah, no.
Frontier, I’d say that’s a good guess as the Tinkerer will be in Homecoming. Synergy!
@ Enigma_2099
I’m thinking the way the sequence of events will play out is that Peter will meet Rebecca London, the new love interest, go on a first date, but then run into MJ who will -as promised by Zdarsky- “Throw his life into disarray” as Peter realizes he still has feelings for her.
That top down view of the NY skyline is breathtaking, talk about background art!
*Spider-Man will be based in New York during the series instead of globe trotting.
– Thank goodness…
* Mary Jane will appear in the comic
– This should be nice to see, assuming Zdarsky writes her well. Hopefully her presence isn’t limited to the FCBD issue.
*The Daily Bugle and J.Jonah James will be featured in the book.
– YES!!!! Finally, the Bugle is back. And it sounds like Jonah is a part-time employee there now, which should be fun to watch play out.
*Several classic villains will appear in the book.
– Aside from Vulture, Shocker and Tinkerer are probably safe bets because of the movie.
*Spidey will have several team ups including the Human Torch.
– Don’t we get enough team-ups in ASM? Oh well, these could be fun at least. I think Black Widow is another confirmed team-up.
*There will be a new love interest and a first date.
– We knew about this already, and I’m guessing the new love interest is the woman Spidey saves from those robbers, but note he specifies that it’s “Spidey” on a date, not Peter.
*”A figure from Peter’s past shows up and throws his life into disarray!”
– The Ned Leeds clone, maybe?
*”A villain’s ultimate plan finally comes to fruition, planned since the day Peter became Spider-Man!”
– I feel like this is going to turn out to be TInkerer.
* Mary Jane will appear in the comic
*There will be a new love interest and a first date.
… then why the hell are you bragging about Mary Jane being in the book?
Every single thing except that filler love interest sounds good to me. The unlisted pro? Dan Slott is not on the book.
