Eddie I am so glad you paid homage to Black Hole. So many memories. My mother took me to see that at the theater three times. Soooo good.
They *need* to remaster it and put it out on BluRay. There was talk of a remake awhile back – screw that. Just get it out on BluRay. We live in a world where the 1980 Flash Gordon is on BluRay – we should also be living in a world where 1979 The Black Hole is too, damnit.
In the first panel I thought that empty section in the robot was a dent or hole, so that’s why I thought it was B.O.B. But you’r right, it’s V.I.N. CENT (?)
TBH is on my list of films I loved when I watched them as a child but I haven’t seen since and am afraid to see again because I fear my adult self would think “I thought *THIS* was great???”
